Jones and Son are Defender™ Pigeon Spike and Bird Spike manufacturers. I would say that we are a lovely little company manufacturing and supplying a range of Pigeon Spikes and Bird Spikes that are the most effective in the world.
All our bird spike products are invented, patented and manufactured by us. We hold large stock levels so whatever the size of the order if you order before 3pm we always dispatch same day and deliver next working day within the UK mainland, remote areas can take longer.
We offer the best bird control products and a wonderful service and customers often recommend us when the displaced pigeons move next door.

New Pigeon Spike and Bird Spike machine
On the right you can see our new Defender™ Pigeon Spike and Bird Spike wire-forming machine. When I say new, I actually mean a reconditioned 2nd World War Heenan Froude wire forming unit.
We looked into purchasing a computerised, robotic, automated, all singing and all dancing machine but at over £200,000 we decided to rescue this beauty from the tip.
This restoration product has turned out to be the best investment we ever made. As well as using less power to produce over 200 wires per minute, we feel that recycling a machine that was destined for landfill is environmentally sound.
It’s nice to think that in the 2nd World War it made components for our anti-aircraft guns protecting London and now in the 21st Century it’s making Defender™ Pigeon Spikes and Bird Spikes for protecting those same buildings.
