So who are CRC? Chris Clarke started CRC Pest Control nearly 15 years ago after working for another pest control company for 15 years previously. Chris and the team are based in Brandon, Suffolk and provide pest control services over a good 50-mile radius, including Cambridge and Newmarket. Together they will solve all your issues with insects, rodents, wasps and birds. They also cover moles, rabbits, deer and foxes. CRC has you covered whether you are a domestic customer with a one-off wasp nest or are a commercial company, for example, warehouse, office, retail or agricultural, farms or equestrian properties, and are looking for an annual pest control contract.

CRC is a real family affair, Chris works very closely with his 22 year old son Tyler and 17 year old Chris Marshall. Tyler joined the family business straight from school and has proved himself to be a knowledgeable, passionate and hard worker - his dad says he is a real asset to their company!

When Chris first decided to start out on his own, it felt incredibly daunting. He set out in his white van with a picture of a mole on the back, 3 small contracts and the determination to make a success of it. Fast forward to today and he has built a successful, healthy reputable business to be proud of with over 160 current contracts. He also has a small fleet of vehicles in eye-catching orange you just can not miss driving around the Suffolk countryside.

Chris gets out and about meeting new customers, quoting and treating, while Tyler and (other) Chris tend to team up and complete the bird installs. Apparently, Tyler is absolutely fearless when up on the roof which is a good thing as they do a lot of solar panel work, proofing the perimeter of the panels to stop those pesky pigeons from gaining access underneath and causing damage.

The job that won CRC the title of Defender® Bird Spike Installer of the Month, was a job in Burwell. Pigeons were perching and roosting on the metal beams in a yard and causing unsightly mess on the tanks and floor below. The solution was to install Defender® Wide Plastic Pigeon Spikes along the surfaces where the pigeons had been. As with all installs, the jobs always begin with a good clean to ensure the surfaces are free from debris and bird droppings.
